Privacy Policy

Rules Lawyer is a product operated by Kevin Jonas, sole proprietor. In this policy, “Rules Lawyer,” “we,” and “us” refer to Kevin Jonas. We store only the information needed to operate accounts, answer questions, preserve game spaces, manage credits and existing subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Information we collect

We may store your email address, authentication identifiers, weekly free-credit usage, purchased-credit balance and transaction records, existing subscription status, saved game spaces and conversations, feedback you submit, and limited service-error records. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by us.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, grant and enforce credit balances, process payments, restore your saved content, investigate problems, and improve answers.

Service providers

We use OpenAI for answer generation, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and Cloudflare/OpenAI Sites for hosting and abuse protection. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

Retention and control

Account and conversation data is retained while your account remains active. Credit purchase records are retained as needed for billing, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Resolved feedback is deleted after one year. Limited error records are retained for up to 90 days. You may request access to or deletion of your account data by using the feedback form.

Security

Administrative access requires multi-factor authentication. Access controls, encrypted connections, bot protection, and restricted service credentials are used to protect the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Rules Lawyer is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the beta evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
